She became a television star at age nine months, when she appeared as Michelle Tanner in Full House in which she starred alongside Mary Kate Olsen. The 1990s saw them starred together in several films and then launched their own fashion labels. Elizabeth Olsen is her younger sibling, and she was in the 2012 drama Martha Marcy May Marlene as well as the 2014 blockbuster Godzilla. The roles she played include Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 show Point Pleasant, and Marcy as a character in Dawson's Creek. Three years in the role of Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera earned her nominations to the Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 in the Outstanding Newcomer category. Between 2007 and 2008, Dollar played Cindy Thomas on the ABC show Women's Murder Club. She starred on in the 2011 NBC Pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked up.
