Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the horror or martial arts types. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies and has a fascination with the morbid. She began her reviews at the end of 2009 and, after she gained some fame (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa), Allison Pregler became part of Channel Awesome's family. She remained participant on the website from January until the beginning of 2015 in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts cover the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She appeared as well. and frequently guest-starred in his show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible kids' films or RiffTrax live-streamed shows, in addition to the occasional adult-oriented comedy (including obviously Baywatch (2017)). She started reviewing movies late in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing community. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous shows on Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of Channel Awesome's family along together with Doug Walker.
