Stella Maeve is an American actress best known for her amazing portrayal of of Julia Wicker in the TV show The Magicians . Maeve is Native American. She is native to New York. She is part Blackfoot Cherokee. She first appeared on screen Liminality (2005 short film). Her big-screen debut in 2005 when she appeared on the critically-acclaimed drama comedy Transamerica. The year was 2014 when she made an appearance on television on an episode of Law & Order Criminal Intent season four episode. Nadia Decotis joined Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise, Chicago P.D. in 2014. . She portrayed this character from 2011 until 2015 after which she reprised the character on Law & Order Special Victims Unit, a second show on TV by Wolf. Prior to that was when she played Julia Wicker in Syfy's fantasy show The Magicians. While Stella Maeve found a solid basis as an actress on TV, she continued to act in independent films.
